{"id":492,"date":"2014-01-26T12:37:36","date_gmt":"2014-01-26T20:37:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/?p=492"},"modified":"2014-01-26T13:47:20","modified_gmt":"2014-01-26T21:47:20","slug":"492","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/2014\/01\/26\/492\/","title":{"rendered":"Christmas 1958"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Banta-beatty-in-center.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-494 aligncenter\" alt=\"Banta beatty in center\" src=\"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Banta-beatty-in-center-468x314.jpg\" width=\"468\" height=\"314\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Banta-beatty-in-center-468x314.jpg 468w, http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Banta-beatty-in-center-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px\" \/><\/a><!--more-->Hello! \u00a0It&#8217;s just over a month since Christmas, but I have one last holiday picture to post.<\/p>\n<p>When talking with Grandma Nadine (pictured at the far right near the lovely tinseled tree) I found out that this picture includes Banta Beatty, who I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve seen a picture of before. \u00a0He is seated in the front left of the picture, in the yellow chair. \u00a0Unfortunately he passed away five months after this picture, on May 4th, 1959, at age 59. \u00a0I was under the impression he was in law enforcement in Needles, but could use some more background on that. \u00a0The last census record I have of him is as a municipal water employee in Perris in 1940.<\/p>\n<p>Also in this picture are Freda in the white shirt, her son Michael between her and Banta, Alfrieda Almquist at the far left who is seated next to Gustav. \u00a0Next to Gustav is Dave, followed by Blanche (?), Steve, Pam, and Michael in the high chair. \u00a0Based on Michael&#8217;s age (1 year plus three months I&#8217;m guessing) this is Christmas 1958. \u00a0That possibly explains\u00a0where Banta and Freda&#8217;s daughter Diane is, as she married Donald O&#8217;Brian in May 1958.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you all had a great holiday!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[1],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/492"}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=492"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/492\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":498,"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/492\/revisions\/498"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=492"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=492"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/blackenedroots.com\/natasha\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=492"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
