There are currently over 250 species of eucalyptus\u00a0trees in California, I wonder what kind he was growing, and if they were for tree nursery use or destined to be used as lumber. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.com\/news\/2011\/jan\/15\/how-eucalyptus-came-california\/\" target=\"_blank\">This article<\/a> talks a little bit about the eucalyptus boom around this time.
