Anderson Family visits Perris, CA

Anderson-familyMy Great Grandmother, Hannah Anderson Munter had a brother, John Munter Anderson (I’m not sure why the Munter migrates around, but from what records I’ve seen the above is correct) that also immigrated to the US. His family moved to Minnesota, St. Paul, and seemed to keep in close touch, going by the pictures they sent of their children I found in my grandfather’s files.

The above picture looks to be a visit John and his wife Eva, made to my great-grandparents at their Perris, CA house, I’m guessing around 1924 based on the apparent ages of folks:

At the far left is John’s wife Selma Blom (39),

The young children in front are: my great aunt Liz (age 6, full name Hulda Elizabeth) and my grandfather Clarence (2)

The two teenage looking girls in the back are Hannah’s daughters, my great-aunts Freda (15) and Blanche (17)

Next is my great-grandmother Hannah (39) and either John (49) or my great grandfather Gus (45)

and last but not least at the far right poppin bubble-gum like a little hoodlum is Hannah’s son, my great-uncle Dan (11).

This is a picture of Selma and John, which is what I’m basing my identification, especially of Selma, on:

Selma Evalina Blom and John Anderson

Coming up next, the Almquists visit the Andersons in Minnesota!
